Product Details

A 2×6 Deep Wave Lace Closure creates a focused, extended part while adding structured wave definition around a narrow top area. The 2-inch width concentrates the lace around the intended part, while the 6-inch depth allows the scalp-like line to continue farther toward the crown.

The most important blend is not simply whether the closure and bundles are both labeled Deep Wave. Their first visible wave sections should coordinate in depth, spacing and direction so the top continues into the lengths without a sudden change in pattern.

Deep Wave forms repeated curved layers close to the part. If the first sections are pressed too flat, the top can look smooth while the bundles appear deeply textured. If the waves are directed inward or grouped too heavily, they may crowd the narrow scalp line and create two dense ridges beside the part.

The pattern also changes between damp and dry styling. Damp waves appear longer, narrower and more closely grouped. After drying, they regain more width, depth and volume, so the final closure-to-bundle match should be evaluated in the fully dry state.

Choose this closure if you want a long, concentrated part with defined Deep Wave structure and less lace coverage than a wider closure or frontal. Explore additional constructions in our Lace Closure Collection or complete the install with compatible hair from our Human Hair Bundles Collection.

Product Specifications
CLOSURE TYPE : 2×6 Lace Closure — A narrow closure designed for a focused part with extended front-to-back depth rather than broad free-parting coverage.
HAIR TEXTURE : Deep Wave — A closely repeated wave pattern with defined curves, layered structure and more compact depth than Body Wave or Water Wave.
HAIR COLOR : Natural Color — A versatile dark shade intended to coordinate with naturally dark bundles and preserve a continuous root-to-length appearance.
PARTING AREA : Approximately 2 inches wide × 6 inches deep — Best for a focused middle part or another narrowly positioned part extending toward the crown.
COVERAGE LIMITATION : Provides concentrated coverage around the part rather than wide free-parting space or full ear-to-ear hairline coverage.
BEST LACE CHOICE : Transparent Lace → Best if you prefer a versatile lace base that can be tinted for a closer match
HD Lace → Best if your priority is a thinner, less visible finish around the part and front edge
KNOT & HAIRLINE FINISH : Pre-plucked detailing and baby hair help soften excess density near the front. Final knot bleaching or customization may depend on the selected lace and desired finish.
INSTALLATION GUIDE : Suitable for sew-in, wig construction or adhesive-based installs. Center the closure precisely over the intended part before positioning and shaping the surrounding bundles.
CLOSURE LENGTH GUIDE : 10"–12" → Best for shorter installs with concentrated wave body near the top
14"–16" → A versatile match for many medium-length Deep Wave bundle installs
18"–20" → Better suited to longer installs when you want the upper waves to merge more gradually into the bundle lengths
VISIBLE LENGTH : Deep Wave hair is measured while stretched. Its finished visible length appears shorter after the wave pattern contracts.
BUNDLE WAVE MATCH : Pairs most naturally with Deep Wave bundles carrying a similar wave depth, section size, definition level and dry expansion.
FIRST-WAVE ALIGNMENT : The first wave sections beside the part should begin at a compatible height and follow the same general direction as the bundles below.
PART-TO-WAVE TRANSITION : The hair should remain controlled beside the scalp line and build gradually into fuller wave layers without forming flat gaps or bulky ridges.
WET-TO-DRY BEHAVIOR : Damp waves appear longer and more compact. As they dry, they regain greater curve depth, width and visible volume.
TOP-TO-BUNDLE BLEND : The closure and bundles should coordinate in wave scale, direction, fullness and moisture state so the top does not appear looser, tighter or flatter than the lengths.
BEST FOR : Customers who want a deep, defined part with limited lace coverage and structured Deep Wave texture that maintains visible pattern throughout the install.
INSTALLATION SKILL : The smaller lace area can simplify placement, but accurate centering and balanced wave positioning are important because pattern differences are easy to notice beside a narrow part.
HAIR MATERIAL : 100% Human Hair — Can be washed, refreshed, straightened, curled or recolored with appropriate care and controlled processing.
WAVE & MOISTURE CARE : Refresh in medium-sized sections with lightweight moisture. Excessive dry brushing can break apart the wave layers, while heavy gel may make the upper sections stiff or overly grouped.
LACE, KNOT & LONGEVITY CARE : Handle the lace and hand-tied hair gently, keep heavy products away from the part and remove the closure carefully. Longevity depends on installation, removal, detangling, heat use, knot care and chemical processing.
DELIVERY TIME : Fast 4–10 Business Days

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why can a Deep Wave closure look different from Deep Wave bundles with the same texture name?
A: Their wave depth, section size, starting position or definition may differ. A consistent label does not always mean the first visible wave layers will align automatically.

Q: Why does the part look narrower after the Deep Wave hair dries?
A: The upper wave sections expand as they dry. If they move inward, they can visually crowd the scalp line even though the lace width has not changed.

Q: Should I brush the closure to make it blend with fuller bundles?
A: Avoid fully dry brushing. It can separate the organized wave layers and create frizz. Refresh the hair while damp and separate only selected sections where more volume is needed.

Q: Why can the closure form a short textured layer above longer bundles?
A: The closure may be noticeably shorter or more contracted than the bundles. Choosing a longer closure or adding intentional shaping can create a more gradual transition.

Q: Can I pair this closure with Water Wave or Body Wave bundles?
A: The textures may differ visibly because Deep Wave has deeper and more repeated curves. For the most continuous result, pair it with bundles carrying a similar Deep Wave scale and definition.
